I have been living at Mkombozi since I was 9. I used to live with my grandmother, but when she died I ran to the streets to find work. I worked everyday pulling carts. I never had enough to eat and I had nowhere to go. I felt sad because no one cared for me. When I met someone from Mkombozi, I decided to live there. I am happier now. I get food every day and I have a bed to sleep in at night. I feel like I have a future. I am hoping to go to school for the first time this year.
